Appel Osborne is proud to be part of the design team that will be incorporating major renovations at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in the upcoming year.  The design improvements will include new sustainable features and make the facility safer and more enjoyable for visitors.  Overall, there will be three significant improvements as part of this renovation which include:  A new front entryway including the revamping of the wetland section into a courtyard, redesign of the parking lots to address flood issues and collect rainwater as part of the county’s “Save The Rain” program, and the creation of wetlands within the zoo as part of a new system to connect the ponds and wetlands, which is expected to save millions of gallons of water.
