Athletic Facilities Master Plan

In 2004, a review of limitations to indoor and outdoor athletic facilities in and the desire for campus improvements prompted Onondaga Community College to investigate short and long term solutions for an athletic facilities master plan. Appel Osborne Landscape Architecture coordinated an approach that included an inventory of existing campus conditions, ongoing dialog and consensus building among stakeholders, confirmation of athletic program requirements, and review of various design options was incorporated to capture the overall vision.

A series of approved design guidelines became the basis for preparing two different conceptual design options for consideration. Each option included phasing approaches and cost estimates.
